Double Identity

Bethany is almost thirteen, an age where a girl has enough problems on her plate as it is. In Bethany's case, though, her mother is crying constantly, her parents take her to stay with someone else without explaining why, a strange man seems to be following her, and many people keep thinking she's someone else.

A girl named Elizabeth. A girl who died thirteen years previously. A girl who seems to match Bethany in almost every way, and there's a reason for that. Bethany is a clone of Elizabeth.

Once Bethany finds out, she has to figure out just what part of her is actually her, and how much of her is really Elizabeth? Add in some shady past dealings that her father was involved with, the strange man following her, and a showdown in a city park and you have a very interesting story. Interesting from the aspect of what happens, and interesting from the aspect of how it discusses cloning from the clone's viewpoint.

A good book about a very controversial issue.
