The Body of Christopher Creed

The class reject, Christopher Creed, ends up disappearing one day. He was the class outcast, the one beaten up and ignored by the others. His disappearance reminds some people of another disappearance from the town some years before.

The town is already divided into two basic social classes, the ones from the "boondocks" (boons), and the rest of the people. Torrey is the major (present) character in the story and he goes through quite a bit including a trip (almost literally) into an old Indian burial site.

There's various in the story and one involving one of the "regular" people and one of the boons which, itself, causes a lot of problems.

This is a really good story, one of the type that you actually don't want to put down; you just want to keep reading to find out what is going to happen next. Definitely a book worth getting.
