Nancy Drew Diaries #4

Nancy, George and Bess are staying in a cabin near a lake. A mystery writer that Nancy likes also lives in a cabin on the same lake but she's very reclusive. The three girls take out a boat but get caught in a storm and nearly drown.

The nearby town has a bookstore that the writer is due to appear in but the store burns down which sets Nancy off on another mystery. A statue is stolen from a museum. Nancy (as usual) gets a threatening note. What complicates things is that the various crimes taking place are duplicates of the crimes written in the writer's books.

It's an interesting mystery with Nancy and the others doing their usual good detective work.
