Disappearance

This is the second book in a series by Jude Watson, the first being Premonitions. The story continues of the girl from that book, Gracie, who is psychic. The "gift" often brings her considerable trouble, as it did in the first book, and the second novel is no exception. Not only is Gracie having to deal with the psychic flashes she picks up from various people but now there's murder and her own father, whom she has not seen nor heard from in years, is a possible subject.

It's a very good novel especially in the way in shows that Gracie's "gift" is not a clear-cut one at all, and is one that she has to learn to live with and make sense out of what information she is picking up about people. She also finds out that sometimes even those really close to you are holding secrets from you, and that adds just one more problem to the stack she has to confront.

It's a good story, definitely worth reading.
