Fish Out of Water

This is the third book in the series and takes place some sixth months after the events in the second book. Prince Artur is still trying to get Fred to merry him, and Fred is serving as a liaison between the mer-people and the humans. Her father shows up and claims he is going to try to make atonement for attempting to overthrow the mer-people king several decades earlier.

Still, there are nearly 500 mer-people that have some missing, and there is a possibility that the military may be somehow involved. So Fred tries to find out what is going on, tries to balance her interest between Thomas and Artur, and tries to avoid having even more people staying with her.

There's a lot of humor as in the other two books, and this makes a good addition to the series.
