Hush

This is the second of a three-part ebook series. It seems that there are four cities named Concord 1, 2, 3 and 4. They are connected underwater. Otherwise we learn virtually nothing about why there are the four cities, when this is taking place or what lies outside the cities.

We do learn that there are checkpoints between the four cities which is somewhat unusual. Concord 1 is the home to the armory and the peacekeepers. Concord 2 is the medical center. Concord 3 handles warehousing and distribution while Concord 4 is for food production.

Bluebell finds out some nasty things that happened in the past and she begins to question what is going on at Concord. She also ends up often drugged and has memory lapses. While giving a speech at Concord 3 there is an explosion. She gets an interesting message finds things getting ever more complicated.

It's a very good book, although I'd like to more about why the Concords exist and what is going on outside of them.
