On the Job

The first part of this novel is based on episode 41 of the series, “Working Girl.” Lizzie can’t get a raise in her allowance so she gets a part-time job and finds out just how difficult the working world can be. Meanwhile Matt wants to talk to Lizzie about something but she’s too busy, so he turns to Miranda and ends up falling in love with her.

Which is not something the girl wants.

The second part is based on episode 7 of the series, “Misadventures in Baby-sitting”

Lizzie feels she’s grownup enough to babysit her younger brother in order to allow her parents to have a dinner out. They finally agree but her father is constantly worrying about what is happening at the home so he goes back to check up on her and starts a very, very funny series of events when he tries to get into his own home and Lizzie and the others think he’s some kind of crook.

One of the funniest stories so far.
