Night Shade

This is the third book in the Daughters of the Moon series and starts off with Jimena walking along the street at night. She ends up meeting a guy who had been her boyfriend.

The problem is, he was supposed to have died and been buried a year ago.

Which doesn't prevent him from visiting her late at night, although the visit is spoiled by sounds like thunder but which people think are precursors to earthquakes.

Morgan has gone over to the dark side with the other followers.

One of the girls has her special powers stolen by one of the Followers, and the daughters have to figure out if there is any way to get her powers back. Jimena has to figure out if there's any way to do that and also if there is any way to free her Veto from Tartarus.

A very good book with a lot of things going on, good tension buildup, good emphasis on people working together and so on. The quality of the series is being kept up.
