Red is for Remembrance

A burglar named Shell has entered a house. Stacey, meanwhile, is trying to recover from what happened to her in the last book. She is also still mourning Jacob. She's now been accepted at a college and is to meet with the college President.

The story goes back to Shell who apparently was dreaming about the would-be robbery. Shell apparently lives in what is basically a cult group.

Stacey is starting to have nightmares again. Chad and Drea have gone to another college four hundred miles away. The President of the university wants Stacy to help him with his daughter, who his having nightmares.

Shell and some others burglarize a house, the excuse being that the people have enough stuff to “share” with them. Shell remembers nothing at all of his life before he ended up in the camp, and he's questioning some of the things the group does, although not voicing these doubts aloud.

The President's daughter wants nothing to do with Stacey.

Shell's at a trading center when he encounters a girl who says she's his guardian angel.

Porsha's dead mother was trying to get in touch with her. Stacey is starting to get attracted to a boy named Tim. Porsha's dreams concern a boy who she thinks is going to be killed.

Stacey and Porsha work together to locate the boy and rush to try and save him before it's too late. It turns out more than one life is in danger, though.

This is a fitting conclusion to the series, interesting and well done, respectful to Wicca, and pointing out that there is more to that spiritual path than just saying you a witch.
