A Snitch in the Snob Squad

In this book in the series there is the ususal concern from the girls about problems with weight, boyfriends and Ashley Krupps, but something serious happens when money is stolen from one teacher and then another robbery occurs shortly after that.

Max is suspended after the first robbery, but the second occurs while she is on suspension. Unfortunately, she shows up at school that day, though, and Jenny wonders if Max might possibly have taken the money. Or perhaps Kevin, her would-be boyfriend who starts giving her what she believes are expensive presents.

Then there's a problem with Jenny's father reading her personal food diary, leaving Jenny feeling betrayed and her privacy violated.

It's quite interesting to see how people jump to conclusions and also how quickly some people will forgive others when they "come clean" about something they have done. All told, it's an interesting and good story.
