This is a really good, rather different type of vampire story. Gina gets turned into a vampire. Her first basic thought is turning her hair stylist. She's totally into fashion and looks so it's a problem that she can no longer see her reflection in a mirror.
Bobby is the one who turned her, and they end up both being kidnapped and taken to another vampire who seems to be building a vampire army of her own to overthrow the local vampire council. There's also some other high school students there who have been turned.
Gina also has to deal with a special individual who can get into her mind; the leader of the vamp army plus her minions and the vampire council itself, plus the fact that she's constantly getting her clothes dirty and has to get new ones. Especially new shoes.
It's a humorous, pretty well done book and worth reading.
