CountryMouse's Diary

Part 59

Rainbow swirly bar

Wednesday, February 1, 2006, 9:53pm: Wow, I seem to've missed an entire month! It's now February !

To catch up on what I've been up to, check out my LiveJournal for December and for January.

Yes, I am still avidly playing Animal Crossing: Wild World for the Nintendo DS. :-)  And keeping notes. Just not updating online because I am laaaaazzzzyyyy. :-P

STUFF I NEED TO KNIT AND CROCHET, &c. THIS MONTH:

Black fingerless gloves/gauntlets for our RPG. Gonna crochet these (faster). My character has a magickal tattoo on the palm of her right hand; but she's on the run from the religious organization who put it there, so she needs to keep it hidden. Last Sunday someone (the DM portraying an NPC) discovered it all too easily! Eeek!

An airy, soft scarf. I plan to crochet this in Red Heart Symphony yarn, Ice Blue colour. This is to wear with my "fur" coat, for a head covering, for evening wear.

A Half-Hour Skinny Suede Scarf (knitted), done in Scarlet. I plan to crochet some kind of matching hat/cloche. This would go with my long black moleskin coat.

::think think:: Might have to think what other possible hats and/or scarves I might need to make to go with other possible outerwear, according to the weather, for going to the Chieftains concert in early March. You never know with SW Ohio weather........

Today at the Knitting & More meeting I went to (see this LJ entry), I worked on a scarf I amThe Little Box of Scarves doing for Cat'r. It's from The Little Box of Scarves (click image at right to see it larger). It's the Farrow Rib Scarf, and I'm doing it in Bernat Berella 4, Dark Oxford Heather colour (a medium-to-dark grey).

I am still (STILL) working on the Everlasting Navy Grape Throw (knitted); I am knitting a beautifully soft and furry Red Heart Kiss scarf in a creamy slightly-off-white. I just started crocheting a scarf to match my City Lights hat that I made over a year ago (!). There is a hat sitting on one of my Knifty Knitter looms that I need to finish (it matches a scarf I crocheted back in Nov./Dec.). And there are other projects languishing. However, I will get them alllll finished eventually. :-)

On a totally different note: I am now a Yearbie in the Garden of Friendship! As of the 17th of this month, that is. :-)  They gave me a lovely plaque to commemorate the occasion.
