Online friends are so very dear
Like a rose your friendship blooms
The miles between you don't seem to matter
As your cursor brings them into the room.

Who would have thought it possible
You could have feelings of love and adore
One that you've never seen nor heard
But only read on your monitor.

They can brighten your day at any time
With only a quick line or two
Or if they happen to be in the mood
There's so much more they can do!

An E-card or poem sent at just the right time
Can make you break into a smile
Or a picture sent across cyberspace
Shortens the gap between the miles.

What would we do without E-mail buddies
To tuck us in bed each night?
With wishes of we'll talk again tomorrow
And we hope that you sleep tight!

They're faithful friends that have been sent
Like a beacon they bring us light
Let's be thankful and say a prayer for them
When we close our eyes tonight!
