Heroic #19

July, 1943.

The cover, this time showing Germans.

The Japanese is calling the American soldier a 'pig.'

The name-calling is shifted in this panel.

Another name-calling section where the Americans are called 'swine' and 'heathen.' The heathen term actually fits the situation as Hirohito was, at the time, considered divine by the Japanese and it was considered an honor to die for him.

This section shows the Japanese as unrelenting in their hatred, being willing to mutilate a corpse. The type of thing actually happened on both sides during the war.
