This is the last graphic novel in this particular size series. After this the novels will go to a size that is physically larger.

Deidre and Lettie are particularly nasty. A professor stole the manuscript and also stole Nancy's car; in addition, there's been a kidnapping.

Then the main villain is shown, a somewhat insane guy who thinks he is the reincarnation of Edgar Allen Poe. This part of the story revolves around the fact that some unknown person had been leaving roses at Poe's grave up until the last couple of years.

Nancy and the Dana Girls can be friends, but they don't work that well together as detectives.

The girls are all caught, and it seems that the faux-Poe is going to kill Nancy. This time it's Bess and George to the rescue.

A fairly decent story to end this particular size series of books.
