The Mouse House Page One
These pictures will be here year 'round, so that in Springtime we can be glad of shedding Winter; in Summer we can be refreshed by chilly images; in Autumn we can prepare for days to come; and in Winter we can enjoy the beauty we have!
The pictures on this page are from the late-season storm we
had on March 7th and 8th, 2008 here in SW Ohio and many other places north and
south of us! This was a 36-hour long storm. On the afternoon of the 7th the Winter Storm Warning
was cancelled and replaced with a Blizzard Warning. At times we did have almost
white-out conditions! I am posting these pictures before I know the official
totals from this storm. It was hard for us here to gauge how much snow had
fallen, as there was so much blowing and drifting of snow. An estimate at this
point is around 11" of snow here in our neighbourhood.
These first six photos were taken during the day and on into the evening/night of the 7th.

The following photos were taken in the late morning of the 8th.

We had a very heavy Christmas snow over December 22-23, 2004.
