The pictures on this page are from the blizzard of January 6-7, 1996 here in the Ohio River Valley. It left a total of 14.4" of snow!

I took these photos in the early afternoon of January 8, 1996. As you can see by the ice, it was COLD!

This snow stayed around for a long time, with large mounds of snow to be seen in shopping center parking lots even into Spring!
